The Mermade-48 was designed on the recognized and reliable ABI 3900 platform.. The machine comes with a 4 x 12 column configuration and is capable of making a combination of standard, degenerate, and modified oligos in the same run with scales varying from 50nmole to 1umole. Synthesis time depends on chemistry and desired product quality but a typical run time is 2 hours for 48 columns of 20mers.
